Characterization

Antioxidant 1222 is a phosphorus-containing hindered phenol antioxidant with good extraction resistance. Especially suitable for polyester anti-aging, usually added before polycondensation, because it is also the polyester polycondensation catalyst, used to eliminate the current more toxic catalyst antimony trioxide, as this product does not reduce the rate of reaction, it does not react with the residue of the catalyst, but can keep the polyester melt from being degraded by thermal oxidation. Synergistic effect with UV absorbers

Applications:

It is especially suitable for polyester aging protection. Generally, it added before the condensation polymerization because it is a catalyst for polyester condensation polymerization. It can also be used as a photostabilizer for polyamide and has antioxidant. When used with ultraviolet absorbers, it has a synergistic effect. The general usage is 0.3-1.0 parts. This product can also be as a stabilizer for the storage and transportation of dimethyl terephthalate.

 

Guidelines for use  

The concentrations of Antioxidant 1222 to be used strongly depend on end-usen requirements. 

 The recommended concentration is 0.05 ~ 0.25%

In accordance with good industrial practice, handle with care and avoid unnecessary personal contact. Avoid continuous or repetitive breathing of dust. Use only with adequate ventilation.
